Our first session this past March was an intimate beginning to the series; Lee Dale from Say Yeah recapped his experiences at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, Joey from Microsoft jammed out to beats with his accordion and we all got to meet and chat.
We’ll be back in May with the second session – stay tuned for more information on venue etc!..

1st edition – SXSW 2011 recap
Within-industry collaboration is an ever-increasingly important aspect of working in Communications today. The Media Social is a monthly event focused on encouraging dialogue between professionals in the media industry.
This party is a special session of People Downtown‘s Tequila monthly that will welcome people post-work/dinner at 7PM for drinks and schmoozing and then develop into a party from about 9PM as the night runs on.
The plan is to get people together who have just returned to Toronto from Austin, Texas’ SXSW Interactive festival to share their experiences and insights from the conference/merriment… (Kind of like a post- http://canl.it experience)
